Contemporary up-cycling design inspired by
slow-travel & nomadic perspectives.
"Our philosophy is simple. Using time and creative thought rather than new resources & materials, we work with what's there.
Turn useless into useful. Turn old into new."

Rediscovering
existing value, the world appears
full of potential!
It's all about the "re"
here @ nomad redesign. Reuse, refurbish, recycle & beyond.
reconnect
Nature doesn't need our help. It is rather the other way round. It is us who need a suitable natural habitat – an environment to live and thrive. Acknowledging that puts things in
perspective and allows us to appreciate the reciprocal value of our eco-ethical actions.
To reconnect our objectives & work together.
respect
Nothing is limitless. Nothing truly independent. Once we see the boundaries, the links, the consequences it is time to act. Or: not to act
Sometime the latter is as powerful as action! Especially when it comes to eco-ethical design.
Respecting the value of things opens doors for product care, reparation and refurbishment!
rethink
New challenges demand new ways. In a society prone to drown in its own definition of success, the conclusion is obvious. We should consider redefining what it good and what is not. What is cool and what is out. What is worth it and what truly is a loss. After all, thoughts are as effective as actions. Primarily because they are capable of preventing us to do things.
redesign
Creating value without causing damage to our shared foundation – that is contemporary design. And because creation also necessarily means transformation, it's time to redesign all processes that drive fluctuation of bio-diversity beyond reasonable levels. Abundance based concepts and individual, selective approach to design are our ways to sustain.
GALERY
have a look around. let us know what you think.
Creating up-cycled products or developing concepts & graphics,
our driving motivation is always the same:
Making sense of the world around & within. Adding where is less, taking where is more.
